17 year old must repay £1,000

A 17 year old youth from Chalford, nr Stroud, is to have almost £1,000 confiscated from him as proceeds of crime after he was sentenced for drugs offences earlier this year.

Gloucester Crown Court ordered today that the youth must pay £951 of his ill gotten gains.

He was sentenced earlier this year on three charges of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply and a charge of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

The boy was not required at court today as the amounts were agreed to.

The court heard that the benefit he derived from these crimes was £2,493.04 but his realisable assets total £951, which will now be seized from him.
