A ROAD in the Stroud area is currently closed after a car overturned.
The crash - which involved one vehicle - took place in A4173 Horse Pools Road, Edge at around 9.40am this morning.
The AA traffic alert system says there is queuing traffic by the junction near the St John the Baptist.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called to the A4173 Horse Pools Road in Edge shortly after 9.40am this morning following a single vehicle collision.
“It was reported that a car had overturned blocking the road.
“The driver of the car is being taken to hospital as a precaution.”
Meanwhile, a spokesperson from Stagecoach West said all 62 and 63 bus services are temporarily being diverted via A46, Painswick and Matson.
