AN ALERT has been raised after a car was broken into in Stroud.
Police have urged drivers to take any valuable items out of their vehicles after some change was stolen from a car parked in Sutton Gardens, Stroud between 11am on Monday, April 22 and 9am on Wednesday, April 24.
Officers have asked anyone with information about this incident to get in touch.
Information can be provided to the police by completing a form on Gloucestershire police's website quoting incident 393 of April 24.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire police said: "If you are leaving you vehicle for any length of time – please ensure that the doors are locked, do not always rely on your central locking key fob, and always check the door handle.
"Where possible do not leave anything on show, items should be locked away in the boot or removed completely."
